The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and nurturing business opportunities for our AI and ML powered Financial Technology Solutions
This role demands a proactive and results-driven professional who excels in building relationships, has a deep understanding of industry trends, and possesses the ability to articulate the value of our cutting-edge solutions and offerings to potential clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Market & Business Development
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential clients within the financial sector and potentially other verticals.
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans tailored to the unique attributes and benefits of each solution.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and market developments, providing insights to refine business development strategies.
- Represent Via Appia at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to expand the company’s presence and network.
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities, progress, and potential opportunities for the management team.
Sales Leadership and Account Management
- Lead sales activities, proactively identify new business prospects, initiate contact, and nurture relationships to generate interest and drive revenue growth.
- Engage in consultative sales discussions with potential clients, understanding their pain points, challenges, and goals to present relevant solutions.
- Articulate the unique value propositions of our solutions, highlighting their capabilities and alignment with client needs.
- Drive sales presentations, demonstrations, and negotiations, addressing client inquiries and concerns effectively.
- Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets, contributing significantly to the growth of the organization.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, interactions, and progress in the CRM system.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop and execute targeted lead generation campaigns, leveraging the strengths of both solutions.
- Collaborate closely with the internal teams to ensure smooth transition of prospects to the sales pipeline.
- Contribute to the effectiveness of sales and marketing activities and processes.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
- Proven track record in business development, preferably in AI-driven solutions or financial data analysis.
- At least 3 – 5 years’ experience in the financial and banking industry or in FinTech focusing on product and business development or management consulting.
- Must specialize in B2B consultative selling.
- Proficiency in FinTech products is advantageous.
- Must have experience managing stakeholders in a fast-paced environment including handling of technical and regulatory challenges.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales processes.
